What they discover inside is so disturbing and horrific it will keep law enforcement agents and scientists baffled for decades. Will the young lovers escape?
HellHouse is a psychological thriller that taps into the economic unrest in contemporary America while creating a classic horror film in the tradition of Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Rosemary's Baby. It's a modern day Bonnie and Clyde with a horror/thriller twist.
HellHouse is a labor of love that will speak to horror fanatics and anyone who has ever worried about money...and serial killers! Our main goal is to scare the hell out of you.
The production budget will go towards:
- A creepy prosthetic mask
- Camera rental
- Camera lenses and other accessories
- Gore and blood FX
- House rental
- Post production
Every penny we make will go directly into production. We're asking for the bare bones minimum we need to make this film and, yes, we'll be eating Ramen on the set. The more money we earn with this campaign, the greater the film will be. But we're confident that $6,666 will allow us to create a horror masterpiece.

About the Filmmakers
After working on several big budget Hollywood films (Transformers 3, Pirates of the Carribbean 4, The Green Hornet, etc.), writers/directors Jake Anderson and Jared Salas decided to go at it alone and make their own horror masterpiece. Their cinematic influences range from Stanley Kubrick and Dario Argento to Donnie Darko and The House of the Devil.

Both Jake Anderson and Jared Salas have worked as video journalists for Filter Magazine and have also worked in the Hollywood circuit on two of the highest grossing films of 2011--Transformers 3 and Pirate of the Caribbean 4. They graduated from film school with extensive knowledge in screenwriting, shot composition, film directing, and video editing.
