The Boss was started back in 2009 as a fun, overly ambitious, first film attempt. We, Joshua Rizer, Zach Rizer, and Jason Ryberg, had hopes to make an entertaining movie with some witty dialogue, and a few challenging  key scenes. It ended up turning into a much larger, longer, and more complicated project than any of us had imagined. After years of random gorilla shooting, editing, and writing, the Boss Part 1 and 2 were completed.

We were incredibly happy and content with The Boss, but we all felt like there was something missing: Part 3, which would not only put a bow on the project for those involved but also clear up some of the confusing story elements that had been left open ended. Jason had a rough draft written, and we, the Rizer brothers, had been planning on how to shoot and produce it. We brainstormed and tried to work it out, but it just wasn't going to happen without a little help. This is where you all come in.

The Boss was shot, acted in, edited, written, etc. with no outside aid or money. All the people involved were local artists, writers, musicians, and friends. The first two parts were created with almost nothing. However, we have some high hopes for part three and we need some extra cash. We have some crazy stuff planned! 

We are asking for only as much as we think we will need. We plan on doing a motorcycle chase scene for which we will buy a few cheap helmet cams. There is an elaborate fight scene which will require multiple costumes. We want the alien from parts 1 and 2 to finally be shown causing havoc and mayhem on a city street. For this we want to hire a professional animator. 

These are only some of the grand concepts we have in mind, and we are chomping at the bit to get going. We are hoping that in the eyes of any potential backers, our being able to present an already complete 2/3 of the movie on no budget shows that we're intent on finishing this labor of love and that we'll walk the walk.
