The First Cut
Dear Backers,
This is a great day! I have just watched the first cut of our documentary, "A Common Goal" and couldn't be more thrilled. The movie is definitely coming into a reality now, and the next step is upon us. Our team has a base element to build from, and now the detailed fine tuning begins.
Some of you might be thinking, "what's taking so long?" ....So I wanted to explain. First, we shot a lot of interviews, which take a considerable amount of time to go through and pull out the character, so to speak. Also, we've had to watch many, many hours of news and stock footage as well.
However, with all of this work, we couldn't be more happy with the process and the developing product. If we can stay on schedule, this movie will be available at the beginning of 2012.
I will keep you all posted of our next cut.
