About this project
Hi, my name is Rocky Roark, and I'm a volunteer illustrator for Humans vs. Zombies and other non-profit projects.
This week, I broke my Wacom tablet - a critical tool that I use for my illustrations. I'm turning to Kickstarter for some help replacing it and if possible upgrade.
Currently, I am going through a major cornerstone in my college career. I am a Graphic Design major and this semester we have what is called Portfolio Review. Basically we put together all of our work we've done in our design classes and add a solo project to it and we are graded on how we did. In a nut shell, this decides whether or not, we continue on in the program or not. It was while I was working on the solo project that my tablet died on me and now I'm up a creek without a paddle so to speak. So in contributing to this project you are helping me in my college education and helping me in my future career path.
About This Project
I need at least $450 to purchase a new tablet (a replacement to the one that broke on me) but I am hoping to possibly raise enough to purchase a better tablet, one which wouldn't break like this one has. The ultimate goal is $1000, to purchase a much better tablet.
If you contribute $15, you'll get a limited edition Humans vs. Zombies print. They're designed by me and Max Temkin. Each one is signed and numbered, and they're only available through Kickstarter.
If you contribute $50, I will do a custom illustration for you or your business. If you're an HvZ player, I'll illustrate a scene from your school's game. If you're a business, I'll work with you on some custom artwork. It's your pick.
About Humans vs. Zombies
Humans vs. Zombies is a game of tag played all around the world. I'm an active member of the Georgia Southern University game, where it's helped me make friends and been a big part of my college experience.
I am the official illustrator for Humans vs. Zombies, and I work with the national organizers on new designs and posters all the time.
