What am I doing?

We are going to take a 30 day train trip to 16 towns from Chicago to Seattle. Investigating getting medical marijuana cards in each legalized state. An inside look at the dispensaries and how they are run. Points of view on weed culture in America. A live UStream interaction. Social Media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram and Youtube man.

Now that we have my medical marijuana card, what's next? 

On the way there we will be going to Denver, Reno, San Diego, Oakland, San Francisco, Redding, Eugene, OR Portland, OR, Vancouver, WA and Seattle Washington. Plus many more... 

Where are we going?

We will be going to the dispensaries, talking to the owners, talking to the customers, the people that shop there, people with medical conditions all the way up to just your classic stoner.

Point of view?

 We will schedule special interviews with people such as college professors, doctors, psychiatrists, college students, bums, all different types of people on their opinion on medical marijuana and its use.

What do we need funding for?

 Travel for 3, film equipment, editing, web and marketing, graphics, packaging, distribution and submissions for film festivals.

So we have funding for our project! What's next? 

Our main goal is to get the documentary into High Times Film Festival, man. Also available for digi download online and last. Send it to as many International Film Festivals as we can.

Who is Matthew Bennett?

I'm Matthew Bennett and I am a retail, stoner, drifter, film maker, slavery kinda guy. I have done a couple projects around the Chicagoland area, such as the Chicago Rocumentary where I went out and filmed a bunch of different music scenes that were going on in the Chicagoland area, that was a lot of fun. I am also working on my own feature film, The Matt Bennett Show, which has been an ongoing project but I have to say, that has been like my film school that has taught me how to be better at film making. So all the years I put into the Matt Bennett Show has helped me come to this point. I consider myself a drifter because I am always on the move. I am always living strange lifestyles such as in my car or in an apartment or a motel while I am working jobs and doing everything else. I am really just on the move all the time and this would be a huge dream because I would love to travel on trains all over the country and live like that.
