Friends, fans, good samaritans unite! 

Abatis is hitting the road for our Summer Tour 2012 (otherwise known as our first tour ever) and admittedly we could use your help. We are three humble musicians with a humble vision—a vision of men and women tearing up a fuzzy Electric Dead solo on air guitar, a vision of babies articulately babbling ab-uh-tee as their first words, a vision of bears playing mahjong because the thought of their murderous paws fumbling with those little tiles is simply hilarious. Think about it. So we want to do big things, we want to write big tunes, and with your fiscal kindness, this tour could be a big step in the right direction. 

We start in California, of course—specifically: Lake Tahoe, Santa Cruz, Long Beach, and San Diego. Then we zip on over to Scottsdale, AZ, and eventually end up in Vegas. And then we drive back. Over the course of one week, the three of us will be traveling 2200 miles in Stuart’s parents’ Expedition (thank you, Jim and Kathleen) with four drums, two guitars, two amps, one bass, countless unabashedly-shared bodily functions, and a hairy-faced photographer named, Stephen (we love you, Stee-gar).

We recognize many of you have already helped us in our musical pursuit within the last year, month, 3 hours, and we are eternally grateful. You’ve come to shows, you’ve snagged CDs, you’ve sported our t-shirts and filled our ears with so many kind words. For those of you who haven’t had the chance to see us because you’re too far away, or if you’re discovering us right this very moment, we like you anyway and appreciate you’re even bothering to read this. So, already, thank you, and if you do decide to send us a 5-spot, thank you tenfold. 

We can’t say that we are entitled to your generosity—because we aren’t. But we can say that we’d appreciate it, and you, and this amazing opportunity to spread the fuzz. -Sean, Stuart, and Ben
