About this project
The Assembly presents the world premiere of
home/sick
and
The Make Your Own City Festival
July 6th - 30th
at the Collapsable Hole in Williamsburg
The Assembly is proud to announce the world premiere of it's first
ensemble-written piece, home/sick. home/sick explores the history of
'60s radical group The Weather Underground; using the story of their
inspiration and idealism, infighting and ultimate disintegration to
examine how individuals act collectively.
home/sick will kick off the Make Your Own City Festival, featuring
late night concerts, readings and works by established and up and
coming theatre companies, lectures and talks from academics and
experts, presentations by visual and performance artists, and perhaps
a (secret) circus and a (surprise) Sunday afternoon artists' brunch.
Artists, companies, and details TBA.
home/sick marks The Assembly's most ambitious project to date.
