I came up with the idea of Spell Card while I was a Camp Counselor, and I wanted a game they kids could play that allowed them to use their imagination. I wanted to make a game that was easier for them to comprehended and didn't require a lot of money to play.  Like most games involving magic, they are difficult to grasp and Spell Card is designed for people ages 8-up.  I hope you take time and try out Spell Card, and enjoy it as much as I have.

Rules

Basic turn 

1. Draw a card

2. Place defense cards 

3. Attack

4. Place defense cards

5. End turn

Defending 

If a player attacks you with a spell card IE (fire, iceberg, or lightning)

 you can defend against the attack with a face down defense card in 

your defense zone or instant play card.  

Example; if person A attacks person B with a fire ball, 

person B can defend against the attack by using a shield card or another fire ball card from their defense zone.

•         Fireball defends against Fireball

•         Iceberg defends against Iceberg

•         Lightning defends against Lightning

•         Shield defends against any attack.

You can only put cards in your defense 

zone when it is your turn. Once a card is 

placed in the defense zone it cannot be 

switched out with another card unless 

specified by another card.

Note: you cannot defend attacks with cards

 from your hand unless it’s an instant play 

card.

My goal is to successfully get Spell Card manufactured, and out into the world. I am currently running a demo deck and want to be able to give this project a good kick start(er).
