Mahogany Records is pressing You, Me and Everyone We Know's debut album Some Things Don't Wash Out on vinyl! Help make this happen.
Records are our passion at Mahogany Records. Nothing beats the crisp, warm sound of a vinyl record spinning on a turntable. We are just a couple guys who love music and want to spread the word about some amazing artists. When brain-storming for Mahogany's next release, Adam thought that he'd love to own a copy of You, Me and Everyone We Know's debut album on vinyl since he is a huge fan and has even followed them on tour. We quickly contacted Dirk and Emily over at Doghouse Records to get the rights to the album, and contacted singer-songwriter of the band Ben Liebsch to receive his blessing and help with the project. The funds raised will help us with the pressing and acquiring rights to the album. We have some traditional and colored vinyl options planned, including a limited to 100 copies color available exclusively to Kickstarter backers. Please help Mahogany bring this great album to vinyl!

We have decided to go with a new pressing plant where our records will be hand-made in the USA with strict quality control and high quality. With changing to this new presser, we are having to change the colors up a bit. Sky Blue will now be a clear and light blue smoky marble. Fire Orange will now be a orange and dark red/black swirl. The Kickstarter exclusive will now be an orange marble and baby blue marble split. The 'Merica will remain a tri-stripe record, but will now be red, blue, and clear. New mockups have been posted above.

Shipping for the US has already been calculated into the existing pricing. When you pay $22 for the single LP, you're paying $17 for the LP and $5 for shipping.

If you are buying a single LP package, international shipping would be $10. Since $5 shipping is included in that pricing, you only pay an additional $5 bringing the total from $22 to $27. Anything with multiple LPs will cost an additional $10 on top of the pricing listed, and the 5 LP packages with the book, etc. will require an additional $25.

Good question! Let us lay the situation out for you guys: Production costs on this album are over $3k by itself. We are also paying a large sum to Doghouse for the licensing, as well as fees towards the band. Before factoring in shipping supplies (mailers, tape, labels, etc) we are already standing at a cost of $9k for this release, over $3k what we are asking for from this Kickstarter. The label owner and people close to the label will be putting in additional funding to get this pressed. Why? Because we like this album. We know some of you want to spin this record, and so do we. We trying to make sure everyone is satisfied all around with this release. We are just doing what we can as a small label, and will be forever grateful to those of you who help us out in any shape or form.

To some people, yeah it is. We started out with 2 colors, Sky Blue (to match the lettering on the cover) and Fire Orange (to match other elements on the cover.) After speaking with Ben, he requested that there should be a traditional black LP as well, so that was added to the mix. After realizing we needed to use Kickstarter for additional funding, we decided we would do a Kickstarter-exclusive variant to thank you all for your support. The tri-stripe 'Merica colorway was added to have a rare variant for the retail market. Yes, we know the colors don't relate to the cover or the album in anyway; we just thought the idea of tri-stripe vinyl was cool, and that red, white, and blue would go good together.

It's something we will reveal in the last half of this fundraiser. It's definitely something unique, and something that will as cool displayed on a shelf or being used daily. A few bands have been trying this out lately, and we like the idea. Hopefully you guys will too!

We aren't taking your money right away. Kickstarter works with pledges, which is basically saying that if this project meets funding, you pledge to donate a certain amount. Money will not leave your account until the project is funded. If we for some reason fail to provide product, Amazon will refund your donation completely.
