We've worked hard to advance to ICCA Semifinals in Nashville, TN and to start recording our new CD, now we just need you.
The Faux Paz is currently comprised of 18 talented singers who attend the University of Maryland, College Park. As a group, we are dedicated to performing at various events including charity, social and professional, recording CDs for a cappella lovers, and competing in events such as the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCAs).
This spring, The Faux Paz has been working hard to perfect our set for the ICCAs. We worked hard all semester long and placed first in ICCA Quarterfinals at Duke University on February 4th while also picking up two special awards: Outstanding Choreography and Outstanding Vocal Percussion. This has given us the honor to advance to Semifinals at Vanderbilt in Nashville, TN on March 17th. We have been fundraising, but have yet to raise the funds needed to afford to go to Semifinals. In addition to competing, we have recently started recording our upcoming studio album. Currently, we have recorded five songs, but we need several more to complete the full album.
No matter how big or small, all donations will go directly toward our journey to ICCA Semifinals and toward recording costs for our album. Music is our passion, but for us to continue on our path to share our music with more people, we need your help.
