Swim Pony Performing Arts is an emerging performance group in Philadelphia, and we are producing our first show, SURVIVE! , in June at the Wolf Building. We are a group of theatre artists who have been successfully working as actors, directors, designers, puppeteers, musicians, and dancers in the Philadelphia Theatre scene who value collaborative, cross disciplinary work. We look to have this be not only valued in our product, but also our process.
We've already started rehearsing and it's been pretty exciting. One thing that has become clear through our rehearsal and play is that to fulfill our vision of this project, we're going to need some major monetary support for our sound fantasies. We have plans to shift the audiences' perspectives on a dime at any given moment in the performance through sound and need your help to make this possible.
