Project Description:

Resurrection is a film series about the End Times where Death reigns over the dead and ushers in the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. What begins as a zombie outbreak turns into the start of Armageddon.

The Start of Death's Reign:

We open up with at a busy street corner with a “Preacher” going off about the end of days being near. “You will all see when the day comes where there is no more room left in hell, and the dead shall walk the earth! Damn you all and your wicked ways!" Then, from out of nowhere, horns start to sound off coming from what seem to be the sky itself. What sounds like symphony music can be heard playing all around the world. Then everything comes to sudden stop and there's a long pause. The ground starts to shake and tremors can be heard going off in the distance. The sky above the city of Denver begins to darken. The preacher gets overly excited over the events that are taking place around him as the camera starts to close in on his face, (close-up scene of Preacher grinning with an I told you so face).

A news correspondent and her team are trying to make it to the center of a runaway crowd to see what all the commotion is about, and why hundreds of calls of a tall hooded figure were coming in. As she and her team approaches the epic center, they can make out what looks like “Death” through the crowd of running people. He's pointing his finger at everyone, making a sweeping gesture towards the crowd. “Time has come”. The news team caught his attention, Death slams his staff into the ground, forcing the news team and everyone around him, to their knees. As they all start to get up, so do the dead! They start rising up from the ground. The whole news team starts to rush to their feet and begin to make a run for it. The cameraman is still filming as members of his news team start to get picked off by zombies as they run for their lives. Then, he starts to run for himself. (Cut scene to Title of the show)

Why do we need funding?

There are alot of costs involved with doing a TV series legit, including, location permits, actors and crew salaries, props and special efx make up, and legal paperwork. When it comes to production, and editing, the scale of the project we'd like to complete means we'll have to hire on additional post-production personnel, such as editors and visual effects artists to give it the look and impact we want our audience to experience.

When we started the production of this TV Series, Dewayne was a intern at the Denver Public Access Channel. So to help film the series, we rent out equipment from Denver Open Media and get as much of the series filmed as possible. D.O.M. is a way for us to share the production with the community!
