Hello Universe,

It's me! Colin Self! I'm an artist, performer, actress, musician, deejay, curator, dancer, comedian, writer, activist, and entreprenuess. :)

"Colin Self" is not just a human being, but a spiritual enterprise for creating and expanding upon global queer identity. Through all my projects, I seek to embellish diverse cultures with queer presence and develop a highly stylized language of transnational communication. Through my performance work, community organization, and personal life, I exhibit the power and beauty of feminized identities as a constant praxes of collective resistance.

I am here to invite you to participate in helping me execute my new opera, The Elation Series. This project is a dynamic multimedia opera based on the expansion of feminized consciousness in the 21st century. 

I am proud to announce I will be joining a stellar list of performers in touring with PUSSY FAGGOT this May to present excerpts from my new opera series, as well as other amazing friends throughout Europe.

With your help, I will be taking the opera on a European Tour. Your funding will help me show this piece throughout Europe and back here in New York City. In conjunction with this tour, I will distribute the music as my first official album, released on a special usb bracelet. This project will be a collaboration with an incredible list of artists, dancers, choreographers, designers, and performers.

I will be traveling everywhere from Zagreb to Dublin, to Istanbul, and London. Your donations will not only help guide me through Europe, but also pay for artist materials, space rental, and documentation of the entire tour. (Full list will be posted soon!)

It has been my dream since I was a tween to take my performance work on a European tour. This opportunity would allow me to physically share my work with an international audience, and continue my life practice of building a transglobal feminized presence. With your help, I can make my opera and tour dreams come true, and share my vision with the world!!
