BAREFOOT: Innovative Beach Furniture & Accessories

BAREFOOT aims to propose an alternative to the disposable beach chairs in the current market today. It's more than innovative beach furniture & accessories, it proposes a new ritual and attitude towards beach going.

BAREFOOT is part of my thesis towards completing my MFA in Furniture Design at SCAD, Savannah GA. This kickstarter opens my final designs TO ALL AWESOME BEACHGOERS WHO WANT SOMETHING BETTER!! The designs are focused on providing furniture and accessories for an alternative ritual to enhance your ultimate beach experience!

Seasonal/ disposable beach furniture are part of a big waste problem since most are not repairable, durable or easily recycled.  I want to challenge the way we typically experience the beach through proposing a new attitude, BAREFOOT proposes a simplified way of enhancing your beach experience. The primary focus for this Kickstarter is on CREATING A NEW BAREFOOT MIND SET by providing an alternative to the way of TRANSPORTING PERSONAL ITEMS AND SEATING ON THE BEACH. The BAREFOOT furniture series is learning from the problems of disposable beach furniture. Furthermore, the design solution challenges the ways in which one can shift from the disposable paradigm and create a new ritual for enjoying the beach.

BAREFOOT beach furniture designs will be portable, durable, & washable! BEST OF ALL IT WILL ALWAYS BE READY TO GO! OFFERING GREAT COMFORT ON THE BEACH! All materials have been carefully chosen taking into consideration environmental responsibility.
