C2E2 and shipping plan

C2E2 (Chicago Convention)
I'll be at C2E2 this coming weekend (Artist Alley, booth D4). I know that some of you are planning on attending the show. Here's the list of C2E2 attendees that I have so far:

Shipping the Incentives
I still haven't received the last of the books, but am planning on rolling out incentives starting next week. I'll be shipping to the higher supporters first. Hopefully, by the time I finish sketching on title pages of the hardcover (for those that supported at that level), the rest of the books should arrive from the bindery.
Thanks for your patience on this. It's taken longer and cost far more than originally anticipated, but we're closing in on finishing up this part of the process (the MOST TIME-CONSUMING part of all).

Athena Voltaire's Future
I have a few meetings planned at the convention, so I hope to have some news to share regarding publications and other fun stuff. Some exciting stuff on the horizon, and some cool contributions from other creators that I look forward to sharing, as well.
That's where we are so far. I apologize again for my inconsistent updates. It's turned out to be a heck of a lot more work to manage this campaign than I originally anticipated. Regardless, it's been an incredibly rewarding process. I appreciate your patience and support.

The blog, the hardcover, and everything else.
Hi, everyone--
I hit a stumbling block with the production blog (and only realized it after you'd all provided your email addresses). Blogger only allows for 100 reader invitations. After a few query emails about finding a workaround, it looks like the only way around this is creating a couple identical blogs.
I've started sending out email invitations; you should receive yours between now and Thursday (it's a manual cut-and-paste thing, so I'm trying to get it all done as I go).
The word on the hardcovers still looks good for an October delivery (to me). From there, I'll start drawing headshots in the books for supporters that pledged that reward and preparing to strain the backs of postmen everywhere.
Lastly, thanks to everyone who's offered their support while my mom has been in the hospital. Life is a stressful enough balancing act without trips to the Emergency Room. Hopefully, she'll be released soon (but I've been saying that for almost a week now...)
Thanks for your patience and support, everyone! Look for the blog to update either on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays or on Tuesdays and Thursdays (once I have all of the invitations finished).
