I'm an impoverished undergrad student looking to start a business too. I had thought of using kickstarter a couple of times, but it isn't doesn't make sense for my idea. Best of luck to you.
The gains you've made so far have been impressive, but people are more likely to invest their funds in you if they A: Like the idea, and B: Believe it's a viable business.
If you have a business plan worked out, remove details you don't want to broadcast to the world and post it up. Make it concise enough to be read in a blog-post.
What are you going to look like in that trench coat? Get into costume and get us some action shots!
What will your product look like? It's wrapping? Will it have nibs mixed in? Got pics of your work?
You obviously know a LOT about how chocolate is supposed to be made.
So put that knowledge to use. Throw together some articles about how to identify good chocolate, or how it's made, what the term 'fair trade' means in relation to your product.
Better yet, if you have a camera, get into character and then make a few short videos about what you do. (Just be sure to talk to someone with theatre experience for pointers if you try this).
That's enough out of me. Maybe you don't need my advice, but the above was all I could give. I hope you succeed beyond your wildest expectations with this.
Best of luck
