Connected as Eric Stuart (1193 friends)
Brooklyn born and raised singer/songwriter Eric Stuart has toured the country either on his own or with such rock legends as Peter Frampton, Ringo Starr, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. He's also opened for such acts as Jethro Tull, Julian Cope, Hall and Oates, and Chicago.
His first full-length album, Curiosity, was released in 1996 on his own independent label, Widow's Peak Records, and was soon followed up in 1997 with Picture Perfect World (EP).
In the summer of 1997, Eric's classic rock & roll style was noticed by Ringo Starr who invited him to open The Ringo Starr and His All-Starr Band Tour, featuring Peter Frampton, Jack Bruce (Cream), Gary Brooker (Procul Harum), and Simon Kirke (Bad Company). That exposure served as a springboard for Eric to open for the Lynyrd Skynyrd, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Paul Rodgers Tour that same summer.
Since then, Eric Stuart has been touring on a regular basis including two U.S. tours with Peter Frampton.
In 2000 Frampton produced Eric's next album, Blue, Dressed In Black along with John Regan and Harvey Jay Goldberg.
Now living in Nashville, Eric's songwriting talents have given him the opportunity to begin co-writing with some of Nashville's finest songwriters.
In 2004 Eric released the self-produced independent album Bombshellshocked on RevUp Records. In 2007, he released his next album entitled In The County Of Kings on Widow's Peak Records. In 2009 Eric Stuart Band released the CD 'Empty Frame Of Reference'.
Eric Stuart Band's last album entitled ‘Falls On Me’ was released March 2011. Eric and the band (Eric Stuart, lead vocals/guitar, Mason Swearingen, bass/vocals, Jenna Malizia, vocals, Phil Nix, lead guitar/vocals, Kevin Merritt, keyboards/vocals, Maria Conti, violin/vocals, and Joe Palmaccio, drums) are in the studio now working on the next Eric Stuart Band album 'Strangers In A Strange Love'
Eric does all this while continuing a successful voice acting/directing career, starring in hit shows including Pokemon (Brock, James), Yu-Gi-Oh! (Seto Kaiba), Viva Pinata, Ultimate Muscle, Dinosaur King, Kirby, Slayers, Chaotic, Sonic X, TMNT, GoGoRiki, in addition to voicing many national radio and TV commercials and audiobook narrations.
It's a very rare that music will touch your soul. By that I mean all music. Sure there are some who love every kind. But I ain't one of em. My taste is pretty hit & miss. But some music does grab me. Be it movie soundtracks etc.
The Music of the Eric Stuart Band is such a item. The whole. I've just flat out appeals to me. Sure someone might say "oh your just sayin that cause you watch anime and he is a voice actor". That's waaay wrong. I was brought up listening to country music and many others many many years ago. That is why I am proud to back this endeavour. Out of love for the music and to make it clear that if though freindship assistance is asked that I can give then it shall always be given

Come on, guys! Surely you don't want Eric and the band to be Blue, Dressed In Black (or any other color for that matter). We don't want Eric to feel as if he were 'Fooling Myself' by believing in us, either.
All silliness aside for one moment, I'd like to take a look at perspective. Eleven dollars from each person who has identified himself or herself as a friend isn't asking much at all. It's a week's worth of coffee from Starbucks; two meals at a fast-food restaurant; a drink or two at a bar; a few games of bowling; not even enough to buy a cool t-shirt at a department store; only about half a game for a video console -- The Bottom Line? It's not much. Even if some of the people who are 'friends' on Facebook aren't really friends -- they are fans. Even if those fan-friends only like Eric's voice work -- can't you feel the passion Eric has for his music? Don't you want to help, even in a small way, for this dream of your idol to come true?
For those who are fans of the music, here is a wonderful opportunity to not only be assured of a new Eric Stuart Band CD, but to be part of the process. Granted, it's the least involved part of producing something like a new album, we aren't playing, singing, writing, creating, recording or any other aspect of the heavy lifting -- we're just helping with part (not even the entire amount) of the financing. But, it's something special that can only happen with an indie group. It's awesome that the Eric Stuart Band wants to share that with us. When 'Strangers In A Strange Love' comes out, so far there are eighty-six fans who can have a feeling of "I helped with that. Without my help, as little as it might be, it couldn't have happened." Won't more of you share in that feeling, and help the band bring this next album to the public?
Can't you sense it? This album is going to be special -- even more special than the ones before. Don't Ask Me How I Know. Maybe it will be the one that finally makes the rest of the world take notice of the Eric Stuart Band. If Eric is able to look at the Kickstarter page in about twenty days or so, and see that he has at least the funds necessary to finish and release 'Strangers In A Strange Love' it will be the first ESB album that had such early and vigorous support from the fans -- and I am certain that he will treasure that as precious beyond measure in and of itself. There is no telling what Eric and the band will do on the next album with such a powerful and positive vibe from us. Something absolutely amazing, I'm sure.
I've been lucky enough to be able to attend a few ESB concerts, and to have a few minutes to chat with Eric and many of the band members. Never once did I feel as if I were being treated as a faceless fan -- there's actually no feeling in the world more uplifting that to see any of the band members' faces light up with a smile when they recognize me -- and, if circumstances permit, they come over to say 'hi' too. They have pride, understandable pride, in what they do, but there's not a trace of arrogance, or 'I'm the star, you're just a fan' awareness in play. If you've heard the Eric Stuart Band's songs, if you are a fan at all, they really are as down to earth as their music suggests.
The Eric Stuart Band is asking for our help. Twenty-five dollars not only ensures that you will have that warm and fuzzy feeling of helping to bring something incredible to life, but also gets you a copy of the new CD -- autographed by the entire band! Come on -- that is the essence of coolness right there -- a CD that YOU helped to make possible, autographed by everyone on it! How can you resist?!
My words can't add to the accolades of music legends like Ringo Starr and Peter Frampton. But for what it's worth, I agree, and testify that your music has kept a smile on my face through many hardships. It's a great injustice that someone so obviously gifted must struggle so much to do what he was born to do. I know what it is like to watch all your hopes and all you've worked for slowly slip away and die before your eyes. I sincerely pray that many more people will step forward to give you what you have time after time proven you deserve--a chance.
You rock man! Honestly it would be a dream come true to meet you in person.. You're one of my biggest inspirations, but to back you up at all with something like this makes me just as happy =D I hope all your dreams come true!
Good luck with the fund raising, Eric!! Your passion is always felt in your music and lyrics and your band is tight and must be heard by the masses!! Play on!! :)
Let's turn this up to 11 Eric!!
