New Cover Clip Usage
Today I grabbed one of our other clips that we have designed which was an earlier cover clip that attached on the side instead of the top. I discovered a really cool usage for it to keep the Smart Cover closed when not using your iPad. The photos show prototypes of both versions of the cover clip side by side. We could easily combine these into one clip to offer both functions in one.
If the testing shows that it works good and we get funded, the great news is that this won't effect our mold or part costs. So we should be able to offer the backers a vote on whether they want us to make to make the one shown in the videos or replace that one with a combined screen clip that does the same function as the video, but also can clip your smart cover closed to not rely completely on the magnets. Everyday it seems like I find something new to do with these, but this is one of the more exciting uses!
