About this project
Painting and writing about the process of creating, 10, 40" x 40" paintings of Labrador Retrievers. Living and sharing my work space, living space with three Labs has it's challenges. Loving and devoted they follow me, steal my brushes, my rags, get their tails into paint and at night climb into bed with my husband and I which totally negates intimacy, unless of course we want to include them. Now right there is a whole chapter.
The art work wil be seasons, landscapes, ocean views, you name it with Labs included. As a good dear friend has said, " All paintings look better with a Lab in them"
This project will take a year and I am looking to raise $1000.00 to spend on materials and having each painting photographed professionally so that I may have Giclees made ,rent a space tand have an opening of the finished artwork.. All paintings will be included in the book and available for sale. Percentage of sales will go to animal rescue!!
