Development Update!
Hello everyone. First, let me just thank you all for being so chill. When it comes to Indy Games, the teams can be very small (In this case, just 2 people), so we indy developers must play many roles. Including PR Person, Accountant, Custodian, and worst of all, Customer Service. And that's were my thank you comes from. So far, things have been relatively easy on the customer service front. Thanks for being so chill.
The game is going well. Since the Kickstarter Campaign ended, most of the work was in getting the rewards out (Ugh, 750 personal thank yous!). Thankfully, that is clearing up and I'm finally back to doing what I love. Creating things.
I'm currently designing and creating the games final environment. An insanely tall tower that houses our villain at the top. The idea is, you must climb this epic, treacherous, never-ending tower to get to the bad guy at the top.
I've also been working on the kickstarter statue rewards, which are starting to look very cool.
And finally, I've been talking with the games composer Mike Raznick, about the games musical direction. The more we talk, the more excited I get. Music has always been a disliked part of my projects, mainly because I tackle it myself, so I'm ecstatic about having a talent like Mike take care of it. A bit of a side note, Mike was recently selected to take part in the Sundance Composers Lab. A great honor. I'm just glad we snatched him up in time to work on Spate!
I have been doing small daily updates on Spates Facebook page. Anyone interested can find that here!
That's it for now. Thanks everyone!

Eric has responded to all my queries and is now sending a gift for the confusion. I would like to express my sincere thanks.

ThomasN: "in the mail" was read by me as "i will get an email with an attachment" and "A unique..sketch" as "he will draw one thing for all backers and send it out"..
This is what I have meant (and I did not receive a physical copy as well, but a soft copy would still do)

"in the mail" was read by me as "i will get an email with an attachment" and "A unique..sketch" as "he will draw one thing for all backers and send it out".. (aka "unique for backers") but thanks for doing all the work :D

Ack, sorry about that Keremix. I could have sworn I responded! The "Thank Yous" all went out a few days ago, so if your in the US, I imagine you will be receiving it very soon! Thanks for your patience.

I have not received my "thank you" reward. Not that it is a big deal, but I have contacted Eric and did not receive a response either. I hope that it's just a mistake :)

If is it a never-ending tower, how will we ever hope to defeat the bad guy? Oh wait, let me guess. You're also Head of Marketing too (lol) :P
