Double Up: Happy Design Week!
Dear Backers,
We are really keen to see what you can do with the MinuteBot Base! So we made the Happy Design Week running for (surprise) one week!

Please download the file (from Update #5 - or drop us a note if in doubt) and show us how you would use the MinuteBot Base! If you don't like or use the LDraw-type of programs, then please be creative using other types of software!
Use as many MinuteBot Bases, LEGO bricks, Mindstorms and Technic components as you like! Then share the link to your creation so we can all see (we will also embed in this update)!
The best and most original idea on how to use the MinuteBot Base will be rewarded! Well, ALL contributions will be rewarded!
Rewards:
- For all participants, we will DOUBLE the amount of MinuteBot Bases you have pledged for! Yes, it's double up!
- For the submitter of the most original design, we have prepared a special and secret Reward! We live the place where LEGO was invented. You will not be disappointed.
Some examples: If you have pledged for one Base Plate and submit a design, you'll get two Base Plates. If you have pledged for four Base Plates, you'll end up with eight Base Plates! And... if you have pledged for 100 Base Plates, you will make the mailman very happy! If you don't submit anything, you of course keep your Reward!
All you have to do is to submit your idea by Monday 7 May at the latest (as a comment).
And don't forget: The more you spread the news and the more you pledge, the more MinuteBase Bases you will receive!
We wish you a HAPPY DESIGN WEEK!

Placing it here too, just in case.
I think that in addition to the great MINDSTORMS projects that have been shown, the base would make an excellent cklassroom tool:

Hi, I did not use any 3D software, but this is an example of what I will do with a minutebot base. For this projet, I needed a way to have a bath of water a constant temperature. Construction would have been easier with a minutebot base.

I'd love to try my NXTShot model on a minutebot base! It needs a solid base to hold it steady. This is drawn in Google Sketchup.

Fantastic offer but I have never used any other program than LDD :/ I strive to build in real ;) But I've backed this Project because the MinuteBot Base would be perfect to use on my Truck for the Machineroom. Inside I am putting my Compressor, NXT and Watertank. And on top, I'm building my Boom with Cabin and Telescope. And I'm sure the Bases can take the weight. Heres what I'm building http://www.g-vestergaard.com/gallery/deicers/beta15.html, and heres is my Progress http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi… ;)
