The Comicverse follows the humorous adventures of the staff of a comic shop on a space station: a young man and a Chinese dragon.
We already have issue #1 being printed up; we are looking for help in the promotion of the book, and support in the ability to make Comicverse an ongoing series.
We would like be able to print a special edition of the first issue (on card stock, with our "Desire Is Overrated" print on the back cover) for people who would like to have a higher quality copy. We won't do a special edition unless the Kickstarter project reaches its goal.
We have a Comicverse Free Comic Book Day Preview edition that we printed up to give away at comic book conventions; our supply has nearly run out and we'd like to print more for appearances we have coming up this Fall.
Clubflyers.com has a deal for 5,000 postcards for $99 that we'd like to take advantage of.
We hope to print up some Comicverse buttons, and perhaps mugs and t-shirts and the like, to sell at comic book shows at to help raise interest in the project.
