In 2011, you backed a Kickstarter campaign that allowed Motionpoems to produce two more seasons of great poetry films, pay filmmakers a stipend for their work, and attract the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis as our official premiere venue. Your support has helped us solidify our reputation as a leading producer of great poetry films.
Now we're exploring a new project, one that will turn a major public building in Saint Paul into a block-wide screen for poetry films in 2014. The building is the historic Union Depot, and the films will turn the Depot into a rail car, moving all who view it. It's a monumental project, and we wanted you to be the first to know. On Friday we started a Facebook page about it, so you can follow its progress. Click here, "like" it, and you won't miss a beat.
There are other big changes afoot at Motionpoems, and we're excited to tell you about those too ... when we can. Meanwhile, we're busy uploading Season 4 this month, and getting ready to release them, as before, in our monthly newsletter and at motionpoems.com. So watch for those. We hope you enjoy them!
It's a privilege to do the work we're doing, and we're honored that you're a part of it. Thanks for your support.
Yours in motion,
Todd and Angella, co-founders
