A mixed media project to see what creative people across the country would do with one page of a Smash Book journal.
THE PURPOSE: To send a Smash Book across the country to individual backers. Each person would have one page to do what their heart desires. When finished they would send it on to the next backer.
WHAT FOR? To be able to compile the art of creative people across country. The final product will be a work of art in itself.
HOW DO JOIN? Back this project for a $1.00, with that you will be given a page of the Smash Book. From there, just read the occasional update I send out and I will notify everyone once the project is successful. Spread the word because the more people the better the final product!
HOW DOES IT WORK? A Smash Book with 40 blank pages will be mailed from one participant to the next. Each person will fill a page with ANYTHING. Drawings, Paintings, Poems, Stories, Photos, Collages, Cloth, Flowers, Song Lyrics, etc. When you're finished, the book will be sent to the next participant. At the end, the book will be sent back to me. I will then scan it and email certain backers a digital copy. A digital copy will also be posted on my blog for everyone to comment and enjoy!
WHERE DO THE FUNDS GO? The goal will go towards various supplies for the Smash Book that will be sent along with the book and postage. Any extra proceeds will be donated to the SPCLA in the backers names.
