Hi everyone!

Well, I promised you a progress report. I didn’t promise it would be a good one. I was hoping to have one of my updated songs posted to The FuMP a week ago but I just didn’t have time to work on it. (Reality has a tendency to get in the way.) So I figured I would try again for yesterday, and this time technology got in my way. Unfortunately the song I wanted to update was stored in a SoundEdit 16 format, and while I still have copies of that program I don’t have anything that will run it. Long story short, it’s an old Mac program that only works in OS9. I’m currently in the process of trying to reinstall OS9 on one of my hard drives. So I’m not licked yet, but unfortunately it doesn’t look like I’ll be able to get one of my updated songs posted before my campaign ends.

I do have some good news, though! I was able to start working on the painting for the album cover. Check it out. 

I was hoping to be farther along by now (stupid reality) but I’m very happy with the way it is coming out so far. What you see here is the pencil drawing on the canvass. I’ll start the underpainting tonight. As soon as it’s done I’ll post the final piece, but that may not be for a couple weeks yet.  (And remember one lucky supporter can own this painting for a $1500 pledge!)

So we have five days to go. Think we can break the $4000 mark? I sure do. Let’s do it!
