hello!
I have worked with Hanna on the story and script for more than a year and what really makes this project and Hanna's approach MAGICAL and INSPIRING to me is that she not only has a personal story to tell - full of emotions and details that speak to my own experience in life and that of many, many others - but that she ALSO wants to change very important LIMITATIONS in the film world TODAY - one thing is that her story has authenticity, that it makes the world a bigger place and invites us all to share our stories in her universe - another is that she, and we, want to make stories available for everyone, trusting the audience to understand how a SHARED economy works!
Today many filmmakers only have the energy to focus on their own project, to get it made - and then what? Getting your film out is a BIG problem today, therefore Hanna's story and campaign is DOUBLY important because sharing a magical yet personally inspired story is already a big step, but wanting to use this film to also push a political agenda is UNIQUE and I deeply hope that no matter HOW you judge this video, your hearts and minds will get the BIGGER PICTURE and go beyond small criticisms seeing that Granny is really about creating room for others too, that we can actually kick some arse here and we can help start a very very urgent debate in Scandinavia and Europe, even worldwide, AND - not least - tell a beautiful story as well.

As Hannas producer I am very proud of both versions. I work so close to Hanna and I know what a complex and wonderful person she is. I hope and I am sure that Hanna will encourage other people to share their own storys, even if they are heavy, happy, dark or funny. Hanna is one of the most brave, talented and strong persons I ever met, and I hope so much that people who see this film will see what I see and support her work.

I really love your first project video. It's so beautifully done - so beautifully done that it actually brought tears to my eyes when I first watched it. Your new version is very honest, which is also appealing. Really, it's hard to say which one would be more attractive to people; we all respond to the mood set by a project video according to our emotional temperature in the moment. I do think that your new video acts as a great update! People who want you to win tend to respond favorably to videos that give them a clear idea of what's going on in your mind along the Kickstarter campaign trail. They tend to get motivated by this type of honesty and help PR wise.

The sincerity and authenticity is even clearer in the new version but I agree with Thorbjorn that its now too downbeat, heavy even, to attract much support from sponsors. This would not excite me to pledge money to the project, There was a better balance of enthusiasm and optimism with the serious message before, and a more dynamic flavour with the walking in the park and the 'booing' grannies than you get from just a 'talking head' approach.. but anyhow I hope it pulls in some new people!

Not sure if I agree with you Kühl, I decided to back the project cause finally someone is honest. I agree that the shorter video is much better though... I think all kinds of stories should be told. Good, bad, happy and sad (just like the song). Keep on rocking in the free world :)

Hey, great to see a new shorter video, but it's kind of slow and depressing, if you want more people to support this project, you really ought to brighten he whole thing up a little, see pretty much every other (successful) campaign.
