Dear Kind People,

I need balls. Literally, balls. I have plenty of guts and I’m comfortable with being a girl. I mean, I need super bouncy balls.

I have this rad idea for a performance piece/sculpture that requires thousands of super bouncy balls.

Since my quarters are precious laundry-generating devices and I’d have to drain all the machines in the state of California to acquire as many as I need (I couldn’t do that to the kiddies!), I ordered a bunch from China.

Little did I know, I had to pay copious importing fees, find a professional importer, pay the importer, as well as pay many taxes, tariffs, and other ridiculous fine print style ridiculousness. Also I’ve had to CALL CHINA and who knows what my cell phone bill is going to be.

In summary: this is becoming a surprise financial nightmare for a starving artist such as myself. Please help me produce my no-doubt AMAZING performance and not be forced to eat one solitary spoonful of peanut butter straight from the jar for dinner for the rest of my life. You will not only reap the benefits of the booty associated with whichever tier you are so generous to donate, but you will also rest easily knowing you did a good deed and can brag to all your friends about what a philanthropist you are.

"Ersatz" will be a series of full body effigies formed in molds of myself. Each effigy will use about 2-3000 bouncy balls. These super bouncy balls will all go flying when I throw my-bouncy-self off my roof!
