How It Began - This idea originated from the love of one mom caring for her family. It has grown on the soccer fields of America by sharing ideas and concerns with other moms, dads and children. We have put our family savings into the project. Our local community has supported us and validated our work with their passion for our product. Now we need the involvment from a larger community in order to brand, package and bake for a scaled-up market. All we need is your help! Our Product - They are thick, moist, hearty and healthy cookies, with a decadent, satisfying chew. Ground flax seed is the first on our list of ingredients, supplying a full daily serving of flax. We don't have a laundry list of ingredients, just nine real foods. Oats or gluten free oats, flour or brown rice flour, organic evaporated cane juice, molasses, fruit juice, natural grain dextrins, and other natural favors.

A True Grassroots Story - Maria, a flight attendant, and Lou, a football coach, started a family. They soon faced escalating scheduling challenges, due to their increasingly busy lives. Sound familiar? When Maria returned to work, she was concerned that her family wasn't always eating healthy meals in her absence. She also faced obstacles to eating healthy food while away from home. This motivated her; and when Maria is motivated, she doesn't rest until she has reached her goal.

She began to share her cookies with her loved ones. The reaction was consistent, "You have to sell these!" Maria started to bake more and more cookies, each batch growing to meet larger commitments to friends and friends of friends. The numbers were reaching 200-400 cookies per week. It was at that point she realized her chewy creations would appeal to a broader audience. Thus, Baked Goodness, Maria's and Lou's, company was born.

With the loyal support of family and friends, Baked Goodness expanded from neighborhood craft shows and soccer tournaments to being stocked at five local stores. This is just the beginning of the story. The ending hasn't been revealed yet, and you can help craft the ending.
