About this project

The Atomic Book Company has been publishing indie creators for the past 5 years, with about a book a year plan. And while all of the projects have been largely successful (selling out the print runs), indie publishing has pretty meager profits and going back to print is almost impossible.

The Fart Party V1 has been out of print for several months now and you can see copies going for $60+ on Amazon.com! So help us bring it back to print so people can get a copy for it's original reasonable price.

Our goal of $5200 will help us reprint the book and with shipping costs.

We have some extra rewards for your pledges. Anything more than our goal will help us out in our mission of producing publications of quality!

ABOUT FART PARTY:
The acclaimed and beloved The Fart Party Volume 1 collects the first volume of the now infamous and hard-to-find webcomics and zines, also called The Fart Party. The hilarious stories contained here follow the life of the foul-mouthed and humorously volatile Julia Wertz, a twentysomething woman living and loving and making her way in San Francisco. She rides bikes. She's under-employed. She likes bourbon, cheese, and Oliver. Not necessarily in that order, but possibly.

The book includes an introduction by Peter Bagge, and comics never before run on the website or in zines.

'If you're wondering what it's like to be a smart, self-aware young woman living in San Francisco in 2006, Wertz's comic has all the answers.' -THE ONION

'When I saw the title of (Wertz's zine, I didn't expect much beyond raunchy toilet humor, so what I found inside was all the more surprising! Julia's drawings are awesome and her comic timing is perfect... underneath all the drunken craziness, there's a secret heart to the comic that is warm, and dare I say, innocent.' - JOHN PORCELLINO (King-Cat)
