What is Once Dead?
A one-shot color comic book authored & illustrated by me, Drew Panckeri. Your pledge will help print the limited first run of this story and bring it to life!
No, really, what is it? You know, what's it about?
Oh, right, right... So.. There's only one guarantee in life (other than taxes)... and that's death. This undeniable fact leads the inquiring mind to follow the natural pattern and wonder, what's next? What happens when you die?
This is the story of Henry and his account of the fantastic transformation from Earth and into the unknown. An account that can only be reported, Once Dead.

I've worked on this story for a few months, developing it in my mind and seeping it out slowly onto paper through a lot of enjoyably laborious hours. I'm excited to print it and share it with the world, but there's one thing standing in my way, the cost of printing a short run, full color book is not cheap and I spend so much time doing this act that I have to make sacrifices. Mainly, money. So in the spirit of collectivity, I turn to you (with thank you gifts in hand). I'll gladly trade you this fine story and everything else I can possibly offer in exchange for your help!

* 11x17" prints can be selected from this link. *Please note, the titles will not be printed on them, that's just for selection purposes, also the pdf is not representative of the quality, they're low resolution for the web.
* Original comic book pages are first come, first serve. You can choose a page upon receiving the comic or I can send a pdf of the black and white originals if you want to put in your request early. (A few of the pages have a slightly bent upper right corner, but are still in very good shape. All done on 11x17" comic book boards with blue bleed marks and such.)
* Custom sketches at the $100 level will be 8 x 10". I am open to suggestions but reserve the right to alter it if I so desire.. They'll be one of a kind, penciled and inked pieces by my own two hands!

All shipping is free. I've calculated shipping costs into the budget, however I did not expect such a response from my friends over seas. Do not fret though, it's free for you too. And if you're feeling generous you can add $5 and that would help.. though I don't require it.
