Welcome to the Renaissance project!

First of all, thank you for taking your time in reading and understanding our idea. We love to talk about Italy being famous all over the world for art, history and culture....and food of course! ;)

What we are talking about.

Yet another boring and already seen product? Absolutely not!                                    This documentary, shooted also as if it was a fiction in some parts, wants to give a clean idea of what happened, talking about arts and their innovative masters, in Florence (Italy) during Renaissance. Not everybody knows about artists of that time, other than Michelangelo...and I'd like to show masterpieces and the used techniques of 3 big and famous artists like Brunelleschi (architect), Masaccio (painter) and Donatello (sculptor). To understand the flowing of ideas and how did people judged them, at the point to make this knowledge spreading that wide, I thought that the best way is to show life scenes, as if we were in 1400. And that's the point.

How we are going to do that.

We already have clean ideas on what we want to do, so all we had to do was to put down on paper the project and see how much will it cost to make things happening. This is what we need for all departments for the 7 weeks of shooting.

We already have completed some tasks like collecting and studying of bibliography and historical documentations, writing some parts of the plot and choose locations; we also had a Donatello's Davide statue replica made for our documentary.
We had italian people go to Florence to gather permissions to shoot and collect music and shooting rights deposited, involving already the Director, the Writer, Art department, Costume designer, Dir. of photography and Production department. $150,000 is what we need to bring this project to life, if we go over the goal the film will be richer in contents, details and people. So please send what you can, help us to get to the $150,000 target within the 30 days and become an Associate Producer of this documentary.
