About this project

Dragons is a t.v. show about two beat up old skateboard buddies named Bruce and Vince. They call themselves Dragons, an identity that falls somewhere between hippies and pirates. They are on a mission inspired by their mentor, Eric Ron, to gain freedom by conquering different levels of enlightenment through unorthodox and goofy ways. Their quest leads them to the top of Mountain Lion Mountain. Once there, they plan to skate down it, turn into balls of fire, and fly away as Dragons. But there are threats to their mission, including an evil real estate agent named Paul and their own lack of focus.

Over two years in development, the pilot episode of Dragons is on the brink of completion--we just need a little more help from you to finish production and make it great. What we've been able to accomplish so far has been fueled by independent support and belief in the project. We've pulled favors from friends in the film industry, used locations of families and friends, had our moms make breakfast for the crew, and rolled along on a shoe string budget. Our belief in Dragons seems to resonate. It has caught the attention of renowned skateboarder Mike Vallely, who has agreed to play the character Eric Ron, the mentor of the Dragons. Kickstarter excites us because it creates a venue for our friends, family, and new found fans to show your support. Your donations will not only keep this project breathing, but will allow us to take it to the next level.

We are looking for your help through kickstarter to raise $8,000 for completion of the pilot episode. The funds will be added to our budget to help us take care of the crew and cast, plus pay for wardrobe, props, web design and other filming expenses. We also plan to submit Dragons to t.v. pilot competitions and film festivals that require submission fees. The funds will also go toward travel expenses once we start 'shopping' Dragons around. All these costs add up and we could use your help.
