Roughly $600 of the pledged money will be going to editing and processing for the book. The rest will be going to licensing artwork for the book. These are the two big portions of the book that we can not do in-house, all other portions of the project are being done in-house at our expense.

Yes you can follow our Facebook Page for 'Fantasy Core' projects. We will be posting promo material and other goodies there as we get them finished.

The core rule system of the game is based on a modified version of the 3.5 OGL D20 system. Around 70% of the core rules have been tweaked for better game play, and adaptation to an ancient Roman setting. The class systems and armor systems for example have had a 100% redux.

At the time of posting the project here, we have roughly 60% of the core text finished, with more progress being made every day. I estimate the core text to be finished by mid February, and estimate the art and editing to take another month to 2 months to complete. At that point we will begin final playtesting, and the last wave of edits before publishing.
