We are Kulchashok Muzik- a collective of surfers who play integral parts in our respective industries TV, Film and Music.
Robert Lyon is an Emmy winning Director, Producer and Photojournalist. Robert is Miami based and has worked with top journalists and music video directors on many projects including Enrique Iglesias “Baby I Like It” music video which was nominated for an MTV Music Video Award in 2010. Robert’s eye for TV, photography and surf travel led to a perfect partnership with the on camera talents of the Island Hoppers crew, Lance-O and Lexi.
Lance O’Brien is a Miami Beach based Reggae DJ, MC, Booking Agent and TV Host with a 24 hour dedicated music channel playing many genres of reggae and surf music. As owner of Kulchashok Muzik, Lance-O signs and promotes Reggae bands from far and near. Lance-O has hosted the Bayside Rocks Festival, has a monthly surf and reggae event, and puts on the annual “Dirty South” Surf Contest on Miami Beach. Lexi Lautzker is an established action sports TV host and competitive surfer with a passion for the Caribbean. Lexi starred in the first season of Island Hoppers as well as Roundhouse TV and as a spokesperson for the Western Atlantic Surf Association.
Island Hoppers Season 1 has won the Bronze Telly Award in the Travel & Tourism category for the “Jamaica” episode
Island Hoppers “Jamaica” was also featured at the Jamaican Film Festival in 2009
