IASAIM - lucky moment
In the late 90’s, our tiny crew started staying in a Belltown hotel on 1st Ave while shooting the film. It was right around the corner from where S.C.U.D. and FreeMars once stood. One day we were loading equipment out of the hotel, getting ready to checkout. As I looked out the window I saw a painting crew across the street. It dawned on me to quickly set up the timelapse camera. Thankfully the bolex with the intervalometer motor was already loaded. I set it on the window sill, framed up and let it roll. There wasn’t much film left in the camera but as luck would have it, there was just enough to capture the painting team as they finished our side of the one story building. We hope to get a higher res clip up soon(thanks to Alex for posting) - in the meantime enjoy the lucky break we caught that day and thank you for helping us keep Jesse’s work alive.
