Kickstarter

Hello.  My name is Margaret Taylor, and I'm a writer based in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

The purpose of this Kickstarter campaign is to raise funds to make a more beautiful Smashwords edition of my short story, "Ravensdaughter's Tale."  This story is about a girl named Ravensdaughter who lives in the rooftops of a castle and thinks she may be a changeling.  To make the Smashwords edition of this story the best it can be, I would like to commission an artist to make good-looking cover art for it.

If this Kickstarter project is fully funded, here is where the money will go:

• $19 Kickstarter and credit card processing fees
• $171 commission for the artist's cover art

What happens if the project gets overfunded?

I have two novels on Smashwords that badly need better covers.  They're here: https://www.smashwords.com/profile/view/margarettaylor.  If this project gets overfunded, I can afford to re-release more beautiful editions of these two books.  After that?  Concept art, character portraits, and sneak previews of my work-in-progress.  If this project gets overfunded, I'll keep adding new rewards to the toolbar on the right.  These will include more art, more acknowledgments, and more stories.  Don't miss it!
