About this project
Triptych Brewing is going to be a distributing brewery located in Savoy, Illinois. We are currently in final negotiations for a space in Savoy. There will also be a tasting room at the brewery where you can try our beers and just generally hang out. Initially we are starting at a very small scale, 1.5 barrels, in hopes that we can organically grow our brand into the surrounding east-central Illinois area. Initially most sales will be by the pint at our tasting room along with growlers-to-go, and bottled special releases. We will also establish a select draft account or two so that you can find our beer in a great local pub or restaurant.
This Kickstarter project is to raise money for our first phase and will be used to to set up the brewery space, make the tasting room into an awesome place to be, and get all of our appropriate licenses. A couple notes about the Kickstarter project:

Triptych Brewing is focused on crafting quality beer using a combination of traditional techniques and judicious applications of modern technology. We will produce a wide range of beers, crafting each one as an artist to a canvas. We aren't big on gimmicks; we want to share our passion for beer with you and explore where we can go together.
Triptych Brewing is three guys, from three different walks of life bringing legal, business, and brewing expertise to a project that we've been working on for a very long time now with the ultimate goal of sharing our passion for great, local beer with YOU.

The three Triptych founding partners will throw a special beer dinner for you (+3 guests) where we will pair our beer with food of your choice and generally make ourselves available to talk all things food, beer, and whatever else you can think of PLUS you get all of the rewards of the $500 level. We will host this dinner at the brewery for out-of-towners but you will be responsible for all travel and lodging costs.

Anthony is a passionate beer-geek turned brewer who loves to evangelize about beer. Anthony has won over 50 awards from brewing competitions across the United States and at the start of 2010, Anthony was named the Midwest Homebrewer of 2009. Anthony has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Missouri. Anthony has worked in higher education for 10 years, specializing in database design, business application development, and most recently electronic communications. Presently, Anthony leads a team that develops websites at the nationally ranked College of Engineering at the University of Illinois.
