Here we are! One hour left and what an amazing journey it has been. All of us at darkForge are beside ourselves with excitement from the results of this campaign. We are completely humbled by the process. We not only reached our goal, but managed to exceed it by over 50 thousand dollars! Absolutely incredible! You guys are amazing!!
And again: THANK YOU TOTAL BISCUIT! You are our hero. Words cannot articulate the gratitude we have for what you've done for this project. From the bottom of our hearts and from all of us at darkForge, thank you. We're already preparing for a very special 'WTF is' Nekro ;)
Chatroom Countdown
We're going to be watching the clock count down to 0, for those that would like to join us please head over to our new chatroom! (Just enter a user name and leave the password blank, you don't have to make an account) Myself, and our art director will be available to chat and answer questions. We'll also be asking Nekro trivia questions, giving out prizes and enjoying some good demon pig related conversation! When it's all over we'll be playing some celebration Starcraft 2 for anyone that would like to join!
What's Next?
Now comes the fun part! We get to start making this game! We're going to need about 3-4 weeks to get our lives in order while we switch to full-time Nekro development mode, get all the legal stuff sorted out that comes with the money, and to take a much-need breather (it's been a crazy year). When that's all over we'll be back in full force and ready to go full steam ahead on making this game! In the mean time we'd love to get some discussions going over at our brand new forum! Please pardon our dust, as all the aspects of our website are still being built. For everyone at the $125 tier (and higher) - we will be sending you the password to the VIP forum which I will be personally checking regularly.
The Rewards
We'll be sending out surveys for shirt sizes, getting shipping details and gathering the information we'll need to deliver you your rewards. Please remember that many of the rewards cannot be delivered until the game is going to ship and that's going to take a while. We'll be sending out emails periodically to keep you updated on reward ship dates so please keep your email addresses current so we can contact you when we're ready to ship them.
