A look into the world of orphans in Ghana and the human bonds created through personal attention and interaction with volunteers.
This summer, I will be traveling to multiple orphanages in Ghana, Sierra Leone, and Uganda with Worldwide Orphanage Relief Corporation (W.O.R.C.). In addition to filming, I will be volunteering so as to better understand the personal connections built through this program.
This documentary will chronicle the the lives of the children at these different orphanages, the work of the volunteers, the betterment of life situations and the steps W.O.R.C is taking to further their reach. It will illuminate a world that many people do not see in their daily lives and raise awareness of the ongoing needs of these millions of orphans.
Your funds will be used for travel expenses (airfare, room and board), fees associated with the volunteer program, associated media costs (drives, memory cards, file transfer, and the like), and beginning post-production costs.
