Hey Everyone,

Just a note to let everyone know that I'm in Toronto for the International Premier of the film at the amazing Hot Docs film festival. Last night was a great showing at the Royal theater and there's another planned for tomorrow before i have to return to New York. The audiences continue to be great, with lots of Q and A action after the screenings. 

Please keep an eye on the facebook page for press updates - we've been getting some more good reviews and I'm doing a few TV interviews as well which in Toronto.

Dear Mighty Backers,

Thank you a thousand times for making and EXCEEDING the funding goal for WELCOME TO THE MACHINE. And thank you again.

Since back from SXSW, I've been busily getting the film out to other film festivals who are interested in screening it and strategizing the best distribution course for this unique movie.

I'm also setting up the email newsletter - so please make sure I have you email addresses!

KEEP IT GOING!

Dear Friends,

We did it! YOU did it. We reached the 6,000 funding goal for WELCOME TO THE MACHINE. So all the money you have pledged is going to the film, as planned.

BUT THERE IS STILL TIME LEFT IN THE CAMPAIGN. All additional money also goes as well and the 6K listed for this campaign is just a fraction of the total cost I have had to budget for the completion and premiere of the movie.

So, while there still is time, please continue to tell your friends, neighbors and peers about WELCOME TO THE MACHINE. Every little bit counts and will only help to continue to get the film out as widely as possible.

AND... the film is making its international premiere at HOT DOCS in Toronto at the end of April. This is a highly competitive documentary film festival and I'm thrilled to screen there - it is an honor.

Three More Days + SXSW Wrapup

Dear Backers,

SXSW was a whirlwind! We had three amazing screenings filled with smart and engaged people. Great Q & A sessions followed each show and overall WELCOME TO THE MACHINE made an impact. 

The film also picked up some very significant press - including a television interview on the local NBC affiliate, a profile on mashable.com and an inclusion in a far-reaching AP story. Some of it even went to print! There's also going to be a couple more stories coming out in the coming days, so keep checking our facebook page for the latest press breaks. 

Either tomorrow or the next day I'm going to announce the next stops for WELCOME TO THE MACHINE on the festival circuit - and they are very exciting. 

BUT - WE HAVENT YET REACHED OUR GOAL. Only three more days are left in the campaign and under a thousand dollars are needed or the film gets nothing! So, please, send the news out to your friends and peers - this is an independent film project that needs their help. It's relevant, topical and very important in today's world.
