Update #2: Launch party!
I've decided that if funding for American Vista is successful by August 24th that I will throw a big launch party the following Saturday, August 28th, to which everyone is invited. Amongst much hand-shaking, revelry, drinking and food (and I think I can muster some live music too), there will be a raffle of some of the cool goodies so that a lucky few can get there hands on other stuff. So stay tuned.
Update #1: Thank you already!
Thanks to everyone who has already donated. Your generosity means a lot. But remember, you will only get your stuff if I am successful in my funding efforts, so please keep mentioning to grandma how great it would be for her to donate a large portion of her retirement fund to a photo project. Don't give up, she will succeed in the end. Plus she'll get some cool stuff too.
I am working on a very troublesome panorama involving the Guggenheim Museum in New York, which if you didn't already know is cylindrical and therefore a pain in the ass to combine from multiple exposures. Hopefully it'll be done by this weekend. It's been about 2-3 months in the making so it better be the best one I've ever done or I'm packing my bags and going home.
