Update #7: book is printing! hooray!
Hey there most patient of backers,
Our book is finally being printed! I'll get the proof this week and we'll post an update when we're sending yours out. Please make sure we have your (current) mailing address!
For anyone who didn't back us originally but does want a book, it'll also be available for print and download through lulu.com. (more on that with the next update).
Thanks again! So relieved to finally get this ready to go.
Jess, Christi & Stephen
Update #6: We're really almost done! We haven't forgotten your book!
Hi dearest backers,
So many apologies for how delayed the book has been coming out. We are super close to sending it your way, we've got it all written, edited and laid-out and we're sending it to the printer this week! We really appreciate your patience and support.
Thanks again, so many thanks.
Jess, Christi & Stephen
Update #5: writing a book is hard work...
Update #4: We're home!
Dear backers and friends!
We all arrived home about a week ago, safe and sound, bikes intact
(thank you Schipol Airport crew), exhausted and very excited to see
all our friends. What can we say? The trip was life changing-
challenging, exhilarating, rewarding, inspiring, beautiful, it goes on
and on! We're so very grateful for all your support (we literally
would not have made it without you), and are now digging through our
trip journals, endless photographs, and getting busy printing up a
storm, organizing our notes and planning our dinner menus.
Rewards will be forthcoming, so do reply to our "requests" for
addresses, shirt sizes, and other choices.
Thanks, again and again,
Jess, Stephen & Christi

Stephen, Christi, and Jess met building houses in New Orleans and living cooperatively in Brooklyn. We care about self-sufficiency, alternative education, community building, local farming movements, and riding our bikes really really far.
Congratulations! I'm sure it will be beautiful. :-)
My book arrived today and we love it! The journal writings I've read so far are so descriptive and engaging. I've been to Barcelona and north on the coast, too, and it is enjoyable to read your impressions. Congratulations on completing your project so well.
