Help the Rockford Aces, an award-winning high school men's a cappella group, to head into the studio and record their first CD!
We want to go into Mackinaw Harvest Studios in late April and early May to record our first studio album. We'll be recording 10 tracks from our current repertoire, focusing on our pop/rock repertoire but including some of our classical and vocal jazz pieces as well. We'll also try to record our Christmas repertoire for a future Christmas compilation album.
We are raising funds to cover our primary costs:
-recording studio time (est. $2000)
-CD production (est. $700)
-mechanical licensing rights (est. $300-$400)
-graphic design costs ($300)
We're excited that by starting the project this way, we'll be able to fund future recordings indefinitely with minimal fundraising (we'll be self-sufficient!).
