Special's Synopsis

Amber never considered herself special. But all of that changes on Halloween night when she meets a charming young man named Sam. As the night goes on, Amber and Sam become closer. For once in her life, Amber feels special. But is Sam too good to be true?

Why We Need Money

After completing our filming of Special in June of 2012, our DIT carelessly deleted the film without backing up the files. While we managed to recover 50-75 percent of the film, there is still much of the film missing. The scenes missing were expensive and difficult to film. And, yes, they are crucial to the plot.

The footage we have managed to recover is great but, unfortunately, there is too much missing for this footage to be considered a complete film. Vital parts of the story are missing. And there is no getting them back.

So we have to reshoot.

Unfortunately, our entire budget was used up the first time around. So we need money for two pick-up days. This money will cover the cost of production design, costumes, catering, actor fees, equipment fees, U-Haul rental and everything else it takes to make a film successfully and properly. 

If we do not reach our funding, Special will not be completed. And this will be devastating.

Please help us. We really, really need it.
