It's been a little while since you've heard from me, but I wanted to give you an update, and to thank you once again for your help and support.

By now, you should have received the reward that you requested when you backed this project. If you haven't--or if you have any questions about the reward that you received, please feel free to contact me. I hope that you've enjoyed Jack's wonderful book.

We're continuing to market Jack's opus--looking to place portions in magazines devoted to maritime affairs, talking to columnists, reviewers, etc. There are a couple of things that you can do that would be incredibly helpful:

• Obviously, if you know anyone in print or online publishing (or book sales) who might be interested in Sail Away, please let me know! I'll be very happy to follow up.
• Just as importantly, review the book yourself! Potential readers appreciate the input of folks who've already read the book, so please add your thoughts on Sail Away's web pages on Amazon, iTunes/iBookstore, Barnes and Noble, Goodreads, and anywhere you can think to spread the word about this lovely book.

Thanks to the successful Kickstarter campaign, official publication of Jack Beritzhoff's Sail Away: Journeys of a Merchant Seaman takes place next Monday, August 6! 

I just heard from the printer, and the books have shipped, which means that those of you who were kind enough to fund us at the $25 level or higher, we'll soon be able to deliver your copies of the book.

We're very excited that this project has gone so smoothly, and very thankful for all of your support.
