Inspired by Allen William's concept art, I sculpted Slither. Now I want it cast in resin to preserve and share it.

When I saw a piece of concept art by the shockingly talented Allen Williams, I had no choice but to sculpt it.

Allen was kind enough to give me permission to try my hand at bringing his drawing to three dimensions and thus Slither was born.

Because I wanted to challenge myself and work in a larger scale than I typically create in, Slither was sculpted in Chavant NSP Medium; an oil based clay. This clay cannot be fired. Unless a cast is made, Slither will eventually be eroded and lost. Your support and pledges will ensure that Slither be professionally cast in resin and thus become a permanent piece of art.
I have been sculpting loathsome, monstrous characters for years. One of my collectors, director of films including Pan's Labyrinth and Hellboy, Guillermo del Toro, described my art as "Quirky and mesmerizing... a three-dimensional snapshot of the bizarre. Just as the eyes in a classical portrait are meant to "follow" you though the room, so will these disquieting Homunculii."

Rewards
The main rewards include one of the resin casts of Slither. In addition, for $520, you'll receive both the cast and a private one-hour tutorial on Skype about any sculpting techniques you might like to discuss.
I am also offering four sets of my resin-cast duo, Lipbiter and Bugeyed Man, with a pledge of $95.

I have two pendants available at the $19 and $29 level. Both are hand-painted and hand-cast resin. They come with a metal eyelet attachment so that they can be added to any necklace chain, earrings, keychain, or even hung as ornaments. They come in two paint variations and I will make the selection for you.

Finally, at the $13 level, I will select and send you a signed 8x10 photographic print of one of my sculptures.
Risks and challenges Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
There is very little risk involved in this project. The sculpture itself is already complete, and ready to deliver to the mold maker. The rewards need to be produced, as each one is a hand crafted item, so it will take some time to do that before they are ready to be shipped out, and I will do everything in my power to make sure that they sent out as quickly as possible.
