Dear Family, Friends, and First Time Listeners,

I am so excited about this project, first and foremost!  For those that are unfamiliar with my recent adjustments of life, please let me fill you in.  I moved to Nashville last summer and have spent a significant amount of time writing music.  I was in a band back in California called Janu and the Whalesharks, and we all went separate ways, which is what brought me to Nashville…To start a solo project.  The move has been very inspirational.  For the first time in my life, I've witnessed all 4 seasons, which included my first white Christmas.  To cut to the chase, I have taken in so much in an environment way different from California…and the bi-product is NEW SONGS!  New songs that I am very passionate about.  When I first moved here, I spent the first 6 months doing nothing but writing.  Once January 1st hit, I got caught up in the spirit of the New Year and felt compelled to start playing shows again.  I played my first solo Nashville show on January 4th, 2011.  Months went by with more and more writing, and many more shows.  There was only one problem…I had nothing to hand out. No CD's, no T-shirts, no NOTHING!  

Which is where YOU come in…

I need your help and support to get my most recently recorded EP into the hands of the masses.  Here's the tough part: although I've recorded and the album is currently getting mixed, nothing is payed for.  I was blessed to work with an incredible engineer, Tony Tancredi, who was gracious enough to track the songs before receiving compensation.  But that's just a fraction of what needs to be funded in order for this project to get started.  

I need to:

• Pay for studio time
• Pay musicians involved
• Purchase all necessary merchandise 
  

All of which comes out to about $8,000.

Here is all I ask (because $8,000 is a ton to ask for).  Every dollar counts.  Find an amount to give that fits your budget…if it's $100, AWESOME, if it's $10, that's AWESOME TOO!  Or if you can simply purchase the digital version of the album, which will cost you $5, you will receive it before its release date.  But if you can do me the favor of passing the link along to others you think may enjoy my music, please please please do so!  

This album is going to be one that I promise you will enjoy!  I worked with past "Janu" musicians, Bumper Dorman and Jared Slaybaugh, and had the pleasure to have Casey Lagos join us in the studio, all of which added such a huge dynamic to the album.  I'm telling you, you're involvement in making this album happen will be so worth it…and I thank you in advance.  

One last thing…

I will be releasing a new "teaser" video randomly throughout the kickstarter process on my Facebook band page.  You can also "like" it to hear and download old songs and see new videos.
