Its amazing how much work and time goes into a short film of about 25 minutes - months and months. Looking forward to finally seeing the final product when I get my signed (preference Joe Lando) DVD copy. Thanks for all you are doing to make this movie a success right from the start.

I will be putting more of Joe's interview on the new site. In the midst of building the public pages and then need to figure out the private portion of it.

Thanks for your patience and being such a great supporter!

Hey, Deborah, great to hear about your radio blog. Can't wait to hear whats going on. I am so jazzed about being part of the backers for End of Innocense, and can't wait to see the finished project. In Update #10, you promised some more videos on Joe Lando, is there any possibility that we could see those? Hey, sorry for being a pushy broad! Just another die hard fan, like the millions of other broads out in the planet. Sylvia

I'm very pleased to see the quality of actors you are amassing for this project that means so much to you and I hope, as I'm sure most of us do, that fans of certain actors, with very specific wants, will not try to supersede the needs of all aspects of this wonderful project and develop some patience. and respect of boundaries when it comes to families and neighborhoods.

I'm not sure what you mean. It's a narrative short which means it's a fictional story. The actors all play characters within the story and it's acted out on location sets. It is not narrated though. The actors talk to each other as the characters.

      Sylvia L. Ossa on June 16, 2011

Deborah congratulations on more than reaching your goal. I do have a question though. You call End of Innocence a Narrative Short, does that mean that there will be no actual movie with Joe and the others? I mean, do we get to see a movie and find out what the ending has in store for us, or is it just a narrative about this child that is kidnaped? Thanks again, Sylvia

There will be more clips posted and special behind-the-scenes postings as they come up. We also have to dedicate our time to prepping for the shoot or the movie itself will suffer. So, please be patient.

After shooting hundreds of concerts (Elton John, the Eagles, George Harrison, and the Bee Gees), Deborah moved to Los Angeles and created Starart, a coffee-table book showcasing the fine art of Joni Mitchell, John Mayall, Cat Stevens, Klaus Voormann, Commander Cody, and Ron Wood of the Rolling Stones. She then began her film career, freelancing as a still photographer, designer, actor and reader. Her design efforts were instrumental in garnering millions of dollars in foreign and domestic feature and video revenues. Deborah produced and starred in Final Placement at the Tiffany Theater, raising thousands of dollars for the child abuse charity, Childhelp USA. She later produced and directed the filming of a Mick Fleetwood concert in Coachella, CA. She wrote her first screenplay in 2002 and has since optioned two screenplays. Her second book, Everybody I Shot Is Dead, honors 48 musicians she photographed who have since passed away.
