Update #3: It's not looking good
I have 7 days left and it isn't looking very good. But I am still hopeful so please pledge, tell your friends to pledge, tell anyone you know who might find this interesting.
I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving!
Update #2: Time Flies
Wow, I am really sorry I haven't posted an update. My house has been hit hard with this Swine Flu and after two weeks of taking care of sick kids I am finally getting caught up on my own work. That doesn't account for the time before all of this but I really don't know what to say in an update. I'm plugging along in my book, as always, there just isn't too much to update about.
The book has been a challenge, however my mom has been working with me on some of the background I was not aware of. Her memory isn't all that great but I am confident that most of the old days she remembers are fairly accurate. She did give me a stack of letters my father wrote to her before they were married which has helped a lot.
Thank you to all of my backers, I really appreciate your support. It is so nice to have people show support in what is really a very solitary endeavor. I can't tell you how much it means to me.

Update #1: The video sucks
So the video sucks, I know. I will post a better one as soon as I can find someone to hold the camera or I can get Stanley to stop licking his foot. It's dark but he really is licking his foot, nothing obscene there.
Please feel free to ask me any questions about this project.
Thanks,
Jen

Jennifer Brown is the founder and driving force behind Tribal Blogs, Professional Blog Network (www.tribalblogs.net). Jennifer, a single mother of 2 children, began blogging nearly 5 years ago. With no “Blogging For Dummies” available, Jennifer learned the ins and outs of online writing through trial and error, honing her skills and finding her audience. Along the way, she made some friends and realized so many writers were struggling to find credible information, the same as she had. A former business owner, Jennifer created Tribal Blogs to help writers learn how to market their blogs for their books, to provide a forum for them to ask and answer questions, to have a voice. Although she is the author of several blogs, www.redheadranting.com is her principal outlet. A smart, funny site, Redheadranting clearly demonstrates a love of writing, the English language, and warm weather! She has currently completed her first novel “Dancing Skeletons”.
