This book will tell Roy's exciting and heartwarming story as he looks back over 93 years. Roy is one remarkable American!
Our friend, Roy, is letting us help tell his amazing story! Did you know that we're losing roughly a thousand World War II Veterans every day? We think it's important to save as many of these "Greatest Generation" stories as possible.
At age 93, Roy's mind is still very sharp and his heart is as big as all outdoors. Just last year he was locally celebrated as the Most Outstanding Volunteer in Central Oregon! This book will be a tribute to Roy and all those brave Americans who lived through the Great Depression and defeated our enemies during WW II.
You can help us get this fascinating story into book form and fulfill this last item on Roy's "bucket list". We have most of it on tape now and are working to get it transcribed. The funds will be used to transcribe, edit, print, bind and distribute the book. Some of the funds will be used to fulfill the rewards to our backers in the form of bookmarks, abridged booklets and actual copies of the book and shipping costs.
